The foundry division of RRL Steels was established in 1981 and is located at Howrah, a sprawling industrial township, about 4 kilometres from Kolkata, India. Our plant is backed by a workforce of over hundred people. A much larger, sophisticated, full-infrastructure, full-service unit will soon come up at the Foundry Park near Ranihati, Howrah. Certified as an ISO 9001:2008 company, RRL Steels exports castings to numerous countries, in addition to serving some major Indian companies.

DRIL has been a pioneer in the construction business since 1974. We specialize in building Passenger Ropeways, Material Ropeways, and Ski-Lifts, chair lift as well as bulk material handling plants and real estate projects. We also undertake work for the revamping and capacity upgradation of existing ropeways, together with operation and maintenance of running ropeways and material handling plants. We are also engaged in the turnkey construction of Steel and PRC bridges along with Rope Suspension Bridges.
We have successfully installed, operated and maintained a plethora of different types of material and passenger cable cars such as Monocable, Bicable, Jig back and Aerial Tramways, independently as well as in association with well known European Companies.

DRIL is a maverick in the Indian Ropeway industry and an ISO accredited company where passenger safety is considered the utmost priority. DRIL has pioneered safety systems in India. We had introduced a process of rope x-rays way back in 1995, which is now mandatory in many states. We also perform NDT tests annually on all critical parts. This is to identify any hairline cracks which are invisible to the human eye.
We only use reputed suppliers (both Indian and foreign). We conduct Chemical composition tests from accredited labs on all critical parts. Additionally, we use state of the art technology in our plants and equipment conforming to specifications stipulated in not only in the B.I.S but also following European norms related to the safety of the passengers. Therefore, we have an unique record of safety in our installations since our inception and DRIL combines professional precision in performance and it’s own of innovative ideas to suit customer requirements and to meet their every expectation. The Group came into being with the manufacturing of PVC Hose Pipes in 1972. Later, in 1984,it started manufacturing HDPE/PP Woven Fabrics and Sacks with an annual capacity of 300MT. Since then, the group has increased its capacity to 16,000 MT. Today, the company also offers Liner Bags and BOPET Sequence Rolls. In 1992, the Group ventured into the manufacturing of Texturised POY in Surat, Gujarat andfurther expanded the production in Daman, Gujarat. In 2006, the Group entered the Non-Woven market and has production capacity of 4,000 Tonnesof Spun-bond Non-Woven fabrics per annum. The Group’s latest expansion to its product offering is that of Aluminium Composite Panels, since 2011.

OPG has been founded in 1990 by Mr. O.P. Gupta, a qualified finance professional, with decades of experience in capital market. Mr. O. P. Gupta is B.Com. (Hons.) from Shriram College of Commerce, a prestigious institution of India, LL.B. from Delhi University and a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He had a brilliant academic record. After studies, he worked in Shriram (DCM) Group at senior positions for about 27 years and was Company Secretary of a number of limited companies, one of which was listed on stock exchanges.
