PRATAP GROUP was established in 1968, under the able leadership of Mr. J C Agarwal and Mr. S S Jindal. Ever since its inception, the company has grown in leaps and bounds. The Group came into being with the manufacturing of PVC Hose Pipes in 1972. Later, in 1984,it started manufacturing HDPE/PP Woven Fabrics and Sacks with an annual capacity of 300MT. Since then, the group has increased its capacity to 16,000 MT. Today, the company also offers Liner Bags and BOPET Sequence Rolls. In 1992, the Group ventured into the manufacturing of Texturised POY in Surat, Gujarat andfurther expanded the production in Daman, Gujarat. In 2006, the Group entered the Non-Woven market and has production capacity of 4,000 Tonnesof Spun-bond Non-Woven fabrics per annum. The Group’s latest expansion to its product offering is that of Aluminium Composite Panels, since 2011.
Presently the group is engaged in manufacturing and exporting of HDPP/PP Woven Fabric/Sacks/Industrial Liners/Nonwoven Fabrics in West Bengal and Texturised Polyster Yarn/Bopet Sequence Rolls in Gujarat headed by Mr.J.C.Agarwal and Mr.S.S.Jindal since its inception in 1972.The Company and has progressed in leaps and bounds. Mr J.C.Agarwal : (B.Com,LLB,FICWA,ACS) - Group Chairman,has got a long working experience with a very large Industrial houses.Currently he is the executive member of The Bengal Chambers Of Commerce And Industries,a prominent organisation of the Eastern India ,associated with Chambers in the international level and various PHILANTHROPIC ISTITUTIONS.He is the PAST PRESIDENT of India Plastics Federation(IPF),An association representing PLASTIC INDUSTRIES of Eastern India.
Mr S.S.Jindal: (M.COM,LLB,DBM)-He is the co-founder of PRATAP GROUP.He is managing various day-to-day activities of the Group.He is associated with various chambers and Social Institutions.He is the Chairman Of Haryana Charitable Society Trust Board.
Mr Sunil Agarwal : He has got 28 years experience in managing the entire production and marketing for the kolkata operations.He supervises the product development ,business development etc.He Is the Vice-President Of All India Flat Tape Manufacurers Association.
Mr Sudhir Agarwal: He has got 27 years of experience in the group.He Managed the Manufacture of Fan For USHA from 1987 to 1992.The Gujarat operations was set up under his leadership in 1992 and the group has achieved a good position.He is associated with many social institutions in Gujarat.
Mr.Sanjiv Jindal: He is looking after day to day operations of the Group in Gujarat .He is associated with the group since 1990.He has a good grip on Finance , Marketing and Human resorurce management.
Mr.Vineet Jindal: He is associated with the group since 1996 and looking after the key areas of Product Development and other Techinical aspect of the group.
