‘Advanced School of V-Ray’ or ASV (which is lovingly known to us and our student) began its journey in the year 2014 with the dream of its founder, Iraban Dutta, who has been recognized as a talented CG artist and a renowned V-Ray Licensed Trainers (VLT) in India. His work has won him fame and respect in his field. His motto was to build up a pool of new talents in the field of architectural visualization and inspire younger generations to build their careers in this sector.
But finding new brains was not an easy task and to make it even more arduous, online training videos and scripts which boasts of perfect render settings for picture-perfect outputs, provided an easy option for students trying to master the craft. Eventually these videos/scripts lead them no-where, resulting in increasing frustration and might stagnate one’s career.
“Professionally I believe there is no existence of so called perfect render settings!” says Iraban. “Photo-realistic render is your own basic skills, render settings cannot change your output. It totally depends on your material, light, camera setup & most important thing is know how to use V-ray in a logical sense.”
So to help out these students, Iraban and a couple more trainers, Moumita Dutta and Shubhajit Paul joined hands to share their expertise on architectural visualization, to impart architectural knowledge to the students, which they needed to improve their portfolios and land their dream jobs.

'M.S.DHONI' – The Untold Story’,being the original producer, we were the one to initiate the project with Inspired Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and the later released the film jointly with Fox Star Studios.Starring Sushant Singh Rajput and directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film is based on the life of one of the greatest alltime sports icon M.S.Dhoni. The film released worldwide on 30th September 2016, the first look of which was launched in 2014. The film was a huge success at Box Office.
'SIMRAN', the Kangana Ranaut starrer, directed by Hansal Mehtais a joint production with Paramhans Creations & T-Series. The film has been shot in India and the United States, and is scheduled for a worldwide release on 15 September 2017.
'VARTAK NAGAR' a Hindi feature film, is produced by us jointly with Non Stop Entertainment and Dione Entertainment in association with Kunal Kohli. Directed by debutant Atul Taishete, this coming of age film is a story of friendship among four young kids with a backdrop of the Bombay Mill Strike of 1980’s. Scheduled for a 2017 release, the film stars Jimmy Shergill and Raghu Ram (of MTV Rodies fame) in vital roles.
'AJOOBA', an animation film, in Hindi, is under production and is a directorial debut of Amit Agarwal. This children adventure film has lots of action and comedy which would entertain adults as well. Popular actors like Gulshan Grover, Tisca Chopra and Mukesh Khanna have given their voices for important characters in the film. The music has been scored by the Late Ravindra Jain.
We debuted with the Bengali film ‘Astra’ ‘ASTRA’ - our first in-house feature film production which was well received. Directed by Tathagata Bhattacherjee, the film was released on a large scale and celebrated a 50 Days run at the box-office on its first release. It won the Best Producer (Debut) Award at the 22nd Kalakar Awards and was nominated for Best Upcoming Playback (Female) Category at the Mirchi Music Awards Bangla 2012.The film features Dada Saheb Phalke Award Winner Shri Soumitra Chatterjee among others.2012.

One of the Key promoters of Digital Filmaking in Bengal, he took the challenge as a Technical Director to successfully execute the technical production & post works of TRISHNA, the 1st Digital Bengali film to release on a commercial scale, under his post production studio Adarsh Telemedia. The film’s technical standard was highly appreciated and boosted other filmmakers to shift to digital filmmaking technology. He was the first to set and experiment Color Grading (DI) setup Da Vinci Resolve in eastern India.
After building a name for himself in the technical circle ofthe Bengali Film Industry, he debuted as a producer with the Bengali feature film ‘ASTRA’, in which he worked as an Editor and Technical Director as well. Jute is an extremely environmental and sustainable material. Also known as Hessian, it is a rain-fed crop and cultivated without the need for any fertilizer or pesticides (therefore preserving the integrity of the land on which it is grown). Jute is a natural based plant fibre composed of cellulose and is 100% biodegradable and water resistant. Moreover, Jute reaches full maturity within 4-6 months, making it a highly sustainable material requiring little tendering.
The Jute fibre comes from the stem and ribbon (outer skin) of the plant. Once the crop has been harvested, the fibres are separated from the woody central core by "retting" - a process consisting of bundling Jute stems together and immersing them in low, running water. The fibrous outer of the plant is then removed and allowed to dry. Once dry the Jute fibres are graded according to colour, then processed and spun into yarn suitable for weaving.
