The Chairlift System is a transportation solution for the safe and efficient movement of people in underground mines – an increasingly important component in modern resource extraction, where long travel distances underground may result in production losses and diminished worker morale. 

Powered by a hydro-mechanical drive system and ergonomically designed for optimal comfort and functionality, Chairlift System comes with modular design and simple hydraulics for easy assembly, transportation, and maintenance, Although every unit is custom-designed to meet spatial and geographic constraints, Chairlift Systems generally possess:

•   Gradient: up to 45 degrees
•   Horizontal Curve: 15 – 120 degrees

Coal Crusher

Coal Crushers, also known as Feeder Breakers, are resource re-sizing solutions that size run-of-mine (ROM) coal through a precise single-stage / multi-stage granulation process. The incoming coal can crushed from 1500 mm x 1500 mm x 1200 mm to 200 mm in single stage crushing and up to 50 mm by double stage crushing. The crushers typically used are rolled crushers.

Coal Crushers play an important role in moving product from mine-head to market. Typically used in open-cast mining to regulate the flow of coal onto the conveyor belt, Coal Crushers not only facilitate production rates by preventing over-sized cargo from clogging the material handling system, but provide value to end-users by delivering coal sized to order as such it offers significant cost savings in terms of logistics. Additionally, Indicon Westfalia's Coal Crushers are available either skid-mounted or mobile, a technological innovation that allows for greater range than a traditional feeder breaker system. 

Indicon Westfalia's Coal Crushers are available with either electro-hydraulic or electro-mechanical drives upto a peak capacity of 600 TPH. Complete turnkey solutions for Coal Crushing, including civil works are also undertaken.

Mining Chain Conveyor

Chain Conveyors are material handling systems in large-scale open-cast or underground mining scenarios. Consisting of durable twin outboard chains driven by sprockets at the drive and tail ends, Chain Conveyors are robust and versatile end-to-end conveying solutions that substantially reduce transport time. 

In the past, Indicon Westfalia has manufactured Chain Conveyors in technical partnership with DBT, Germany; however, today all components are manufactured indigenously, and can be engineered to meet any customer specification. Our Chain Conveyors are specifically designed to withstand the shock of impact endured during self-loading of blasted coal. Our focus on reliability, endurance, and low cost of repair and maintenance is intended to meet the needs of high production mining.

Belt Conveyor

Belt Conveyor are multi-function, material handling systems that can move a wide range of materials. They are used for general material handing to move boxes along in factories, and for bulk material handling to transport large volumes of resources and agricultural materials, such as grain, salt, coal, ore, or sand.
