We would like to inform you that the Ishwar Chandra vidyasagar Memorial Trust established in 2010 is intended to disseminate the ideal of Vidyasagar the great educationist social reformer and philanthropist of the 19th century Bengal. With regards to practical application of his idea we have been running a public library at our premises EE 63/1 Salt Lake together with year long cultural and literary activities involving the students of local schools and colleges and the local people. During the last three years the major activities of the Trust are holding of annual seminar where luminaries of the intellectuals specialized in the life and activities of the great man are invented to speak and the publication of a souvenir rich with the contributions from them.
