Mr. R.P. Agarwal, father of present MD, Mr. Manoj Agarwal started the business venture of the group under the banner, Mittal Polypacks Pvt Limited with the prime intention of catering to the small bag segment. Envisaging the over-burgeoning demand of jumbo bags in the international market, Mr. Manoj Kumar Agarwal formed Mittal Technopack Pvt Ltd. During the last 12 years it has grown bigger as a result of its own efforts to become a leading manufacturer and international supplier of jumbo bags, woven sacks, woven fabrics, sack liners ... and much of its production is exported to Europe, UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Israel, and Africa. Within a few years from inception, Mittal Technopack successfully became 100% Export Oriented unit and also received Star Export House award from Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. Since 2016, MTPL has been accorded with Two Star Export House category. Currently, group production capacity is 1200 MT / month of which almost 75% is exported.
The group has major presence in the domestic Polywoven Products market and is operating through two group companies, Mittal Polypacks Pvt Ltd. Last turnover was Rs. 690 Million and still targetting over 750 Million PA. Mittal Technopack Pvt Ltd. Last turnover was Rs. 945 Million and still targetting over 1 Billion PA.The group started its activities in 1972 and ventured in Polywoven packaging in 1985.
