The Society, Behala Institute of Allied Health Sciences is formed by Doctor, Paramedics, Lawyer& Social Workers with the sole objects of spreading the benefit of Vocational Training to generate maximum number of self-employment.
In line with the objects, a Vocational Training Institute is formed with proper infrastructure in the name as INSTITUTE OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES at Behala, Kolkata in 2004 under affiliation of West Bengal State Council of Technical Education to run paramedical courses.
Gradually, the Institute becomes authorized study centre of IASE Deemed University, EIILM University & Bharat Sevak Samaj. All the trainees can pursue Certificate, Diploma & Degree in one Institute under same roof.
In 2008 for the first time we have participated in Scheme for Skill Development for Registered Job-Seekers by Ministry of Labour, Govt. of West Bengal.
From 2009, the Institute, directly run & managed by the Society, is registered as Vocational Training Provider under DGET, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India, in Modular Employable Skill (MES) scheme.
From 2010 onwards we have been participating in “Skill Development” scheme of West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation.
Armed with the expertise on vocational training & experience of providing training for last 10 years & placement records of more than 80% candidates under the belt, to reach the benefit of vocational training to the candidates from different District, the Society has ventured to start branches at Berhampore (Murshidabad), Karimpur (Nadia), Amtala (24 PGS-South).
All the branches are run & managed directly by the Society, with the same objects & principles. All are also recognized by the Statutory Bodies / Government Department. We do not award any Certificates but making the Certificates more meaningful securing the job / self-employment.
Our Society is registered in NGO portal of Planning Commission, National Skill Development Agency,Govt. of India.

To generate self-employment amongst unemployed, school drop-out, Womens& candidate from Minority communities and Backward Communities.

PROSPECT OF COURSES
All the states and the Central Government have been putting maximum stress on vocational training in India in order to generate skilled labour at par with the developed nation. Skilled manpower & proper human resources can form a backbone of industrialization. In the Paramedical sector we can meet the huge demand of trained paramedics who will be essential part of health care team. Without the healthy nationals, one nation cannot be healthy in any aspects. Health consciousness is the least thing that had been in the mind for years passed by. Now the situation has been changing for good with the active participation of different large houses of health care provider. They have been setting many state of the art multi-speciality Hospitals in the city & outskirts throughout the State. NGOs, Government and health conscious peoples aided by specific scheme are investing in health sectors.
